Qt Quarterly has just moved in
We have a new flat mate – Qt Quarterly took residence in our lovely premises. The latest edition moved from the old site over to the Qt Developer Network.
Edition 34 has been sent out on Tuesday this week and covers the topics building Qt projects with CMake, Qt Quick and XQuery support in Qt. In addition to that it, bundles Qt related news and events in a handy overview.
Check it out! [developer.qt.nokia.com]

Smar, Ant FarmerThis release can’t be found from http://doc.trolltech.com/qq/…
The CMake tutorial was very helpful checklist when fixing building problems. I have been wondered for long why any decent material about CMake’s Qt finders hasn’t been documented anywhere.

Deleted Member # 14e8, Lab RatTo be honest: I have long wondered why Nokia does not have a print magazine like other development environments do.
But I will open a thread re this!

QtK, Gene SplicerTam,
There is Qt Quarterly and Qt Blogs. So do we miss a print magazine.

Deleted Member # 14e8, Lab RatHello,
I would like one. It is much more comfortable to read…

xsacha, Ant FarmerYou can print QtQuarterly and then read it :)
But I get what you mean.
Unfortunately you have to buy the print media and get it delivered or picked up. People are lazy. They will miss out on something out of sheer laziness.
Maybe print media will be an option when there are enough people to support it. You can kick it off if you’re up to it.

would do that eventually.
Wish me luck for the ITSec rag – this one would be next…

fcrochik, Ant FarmerIt is great to have more pieces of the puzzle under the same roof….
BUT…. The events section of the page lists two events that happened last year!

fcrochik, Ant FarmerIn fact the only link in the “Events” section that has any meaning is the Qt certification. The KDAB ends in a broken link.

fcrochik, Ant FarmerOK…. Sorry for all the posts. I got to this page because it was the top post on the list of posts most read this month. I didn’t even consider the possibility that it was an old (very old – 2010) post and assumed that was a new page with outdated information.
I can’t edit or delete my previous posts, if anybody can please feel free to delete them.
p.s. Maybe the date on the top/left should include the year. I don’t know if I would have noticed but surely would give me one more chance … :)
